humanize ("we", "the app") is a text rewriting tool. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

• Text you submit — sent to our server for processing. We do not store your text after the response is returned.
• Images you upload — processed for text extraction. Deleted immediately after processing.
• Email address — used for account login and subscription management only.
• Usage count — tracked locally on your device to enforce plan limits.

How We Process Text

Your text is sent to a secure server which forwards it to an AI language model for rewriting. The text is processed in real time and is not stored, logged, or used for training. No human reads your submissions.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone.
• We do not use your text for advertising.
• We do not share your text with third parties beyond the AI processing service.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use cookies or third-party analytics.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are handled through Apple's App Store. We do not process or store payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → Subscriptions.

Data Retention

We retain your email address for as long as your account exists. All submitted text and images are processed in memory and never written to disk on our servers.

Children

humanize is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
